Proformance Services, Inc. is owned by Andrew Newton. Originally formed in 1988 as Proformance Painting & Restoration, the company was incorporated under the name CS Construction Services, Inc. in 1996, the name changing again in 2021 to reflect the original Proformance moniker.

After leaving high school in 1980, Andrew achieved an Associates Degree in Math and Science from Onondaga Community College. Working his way through school painting houses reaffirmed an early interest in art and an appreciation for creativity, colors, and attention to detail.

Moving to New York City in the mid 80's, Andrew found himself involved in the motion picture industry after landing a job as a Production Assistant on the film "Playing for Keeps". Starring Marisa Tomei, it was filmed on location in Pennsylvania and is the first feature film produced by Miramax Films. Andrew is listed in the film credits.

While in NYC, Andrew pursued a career in the performing arts while working as a painter between gigs. He attended acting workshops and performed in a number of plays. His acrobatic skills and daredevil style led to roles in four feature films and numerous stints in production work as an extra. Andrew earned the role of "Beethoven" in Troma Entertainment's "Class of Nuke 'em High" and is listed in the credits as "Stunt Coordinator". In the film "Osa", starring Kelly Lynch and shot on location in Mexico, Andrew is credited as the character "Dustin", as well as the Stunt Coordinator for the entire film. During this time Andrew was being mentored by veteran stuntman Vic Magnotta when Vic was tragically killed in 1987 on the set of the film "Skip Tracer".

Vic's death proved a turning point, Andrew himself having been injured and concussed while performing stunts. Recalling a conversation over dinner with renowned stunt man Hank Hooker, wherein Hank outlined the perils of the vocation, Andrew returned to Central New York to process Vic's death and evaluate his options. He decided to continue his formal education, returning to Onondaga Community College and graduating in 1988 with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. Putting his performing arts career on hold he formed Proformance Painting & Restoration and began building a business.

Proformance did well, growing into a respected local remodeling contractor over the next few years. Hard work and a great reputation led to opportunities to work for large regional builders, developers, and commercial contractors.

Recently married and looking for greater opportunity, Andrew moved ahead and Proformance Painting and Restoration became CS Construction Services, Inc., incorporating in 1996. Focusing on small industrial and municipal construction projects, the business grew, along with his family.

In 2000 the opportunity to work for Loctite Corporation as a Sales Engineer materiaized and Andrew jumped at the chance to work for a multinational company. CS Construction Services, Inc. was scaled back, continuing to do occasional projects through 2005. With the Loctite job and kids in the fold, CS Construction Services, Inc, remained incorporated, but was effectively dormant for the next few years.

In 2009 the family traversed the United States in an RV. The 41-day trip covered 8,500 miles and 23 states. The following year Andrew resigned from Loctite and the family moved to UT. To facilitate the move Andrew took the postion of National Sales Manager with a small French firm and was responsible for sales in 17 Western States and Mexico. Subsequently, the company was sold and restructured, leaving Andrew without a clear advancement path.

Andrew had spent over a decade traveling the US, Canada, and Mexico marketing and selling technical products. In all he visited over 300 design, production, and industrial facilities from nuclear power plants to paper mills, from medical device manufacturers to mining operations. Working with numerous engineers, distribtors, purchasing teams, and training thousands of technicians, the experience was an education unto itself.

It was in 2012, using his technical skills, knowledge of adhesives, a penchant for problem solving, and an entrepreneurial spirit Andrew invented a process to repair RV and camping trailer walls, which are known for issues related to water damage. The company, Composet Products, L.L.C. (www.composetproducts.com) has become well known in the RV repair world. The company continues to grow and succed in a niche market.

During this time, CS Construction Services, Inc. remained a viable entity with the company consulting on development projects, producing cost estimates for insurance claims, and taking on small technical projects for manufacturers, as well as acting as a base for Andrew's pursuits in developing a line of artesian furniture, a series of automtove art works, and in pursuit of a life-long interest in classic Mustang restoration. Over the years Andrew has been published a freelance writer in Four Wheeler Magazine, RV Life Magazine, and RV Ship Shape magazine.

In 2021, looking to capitalize on his diversified porfolio of skills, the business began a new chapter and the name changed to Proformance Services, Inc. a reflection on the original 1988 moniker. Andrew formalized his expertise and experience in repair estimates by becoming a state licensed insurance adjuster.
